Hello everyone. After a break from the business we will be back and reopening in April! Miracle Moss started from a love for the powerhouse and super food sea moss; finding out how good is it not just for eating but on our skin and hair. After taking some courses in skin care and finding a huge passion for formulating skin products, we have decided to reopen the business with just skin care products and not sell sea moss. There are lots of amazing companies out there selling sea moss and we want to focus on our expertise which is skin care and incorporating the love for sea moss into this. What Is 'Sea Moss'?

​

Sea moss is known mainly throughout the  Caribbean (where it is made into a tasty punch) & Ireland (where it was originally used as medicine). Both nations have used the moss as medicine.

 

Sea moss is actually not a moss but a seaweed. To be precise, its a type of red algae that grows on the Atlantic coastlines of North America, Europe, and the Caribbean Islands.  We always use hand-crafted moss which means it is directly from the ocean and not grown for farming in a pool (so it contains its natural and full nutrients).

Sea moss is known for its large amount of minerals. Experts claim it contains 92 of the bodies 102 minerals.

Sea moss can act as a expectorant, this means it can get rid of excess mucus on your lungs. It also acts acts as anti-inflammatory, strengthen connective tissue and speeds up recovery from joint injuries.  

 

Sea moss has a time-released effect meaning it delivers nutrients over a longer period of time for a more sustained nutritional uptake. This also means it will give you steady energy through the day. It also has anti bacterial and anti viral properties.

Sea moss also has a huge amount of selenium that helps in producing the thyroid hormone. It also promotes the function of thyroid and improves your metabolism and aids in quick weight loss. It’s also said to be an aphrodisiac but that’s up to you to decide!
